My love for traveling and photography have actually always been one in the same for me. I discovered my love for taking photos on my first trip abroad when I was just a twelve year old kid with a very cool, very green point-and-shoot digital camera. Once I realized there was so much of the world I had yet to discover, I decided I would make it a lifelong goal to constantly be learning about and experiencing new cultures and places. Sharing the beauty of the world through photography and widening my understanding and perspective were always working in tandem in my head. When I was eighteen I moved to Germany to enroll in a film photography program that aimed to marry art and missions, and it was then that my love for capturing photographs that speak volumes took an even deeper root in my heart. I spent several years learning the balance of photo jounalism to showcase real life and portraying the beauty in cultures that are drastically different to mine- without exploitation in the name of art, but instead honor and love for the diversity around the globe.
Fast forward and here I am in America years later, capturing some of the biggest moments of people's lives for a living. As I move forward in my journey as a wedding photographer, I've found myself moving back towards incorporating travel into my love of photos again and focusing on adventure weddings in wild and new places, as well as capturing ceremonies for people in other cultures! I've got a rather large bucket list of weddings in places/cultures both here in America as well as overseas. If you're interested in shooting at one of these locations- let me know and I'll give you a discount!!
