Hi friend!I’ve been a full time wedding photographer for seven years, but before I settled down in the states and launched my business I lived overseas and worked with a non- profit photographing different cultures + countries.

I met my husband, Taylor, in Germany a decade ago at that NGO while I was studying analog photography in their arts program, and he’s been my favorite human ever since. We traveled the world together for a while, bounced between our hometowns in Canada and the US and eventually settled back in the Carolinas where we were surprised with the greatest gifts God has given us- our little man Isaac and our sunshine girl Addie.

We recently moved to northern Idaho when an opportunity opened up for us to live on an old homestead way up in the mountains, and we’ve found ourselves leaning into new rhythms, shifting towards a life with a focus on living with the land instead of just on it, while teaching our children to do the same.

Though my style has always been rooted in candid + documents vibes, shooting my personal life and journey into motherhood solely on film has continually inspired me to find joy in all the seemingly mundane moments- not shying away from the imperfections and taking the extra moment to see the beauty in every season.

WHERE THE INSPIRATION CAME FROM: ANALOG

During my years overseas I shot pretty much exclusively on film, which is why my style has always been rooted in documentary + candid vibes. I have always wanted my photos to be emotive, to truly capture the way the moment felt. I crave authenticity above all else, and shooting my personal life solely on film has helped me to stay inspired while documenting the seemingly mundane moments of motherhood- not shying away from the imperfections and learning to take the extra moment to find beauty in every season.

I'm here for the genuine, soulful images that remind you what it felt like.

MY PHILOSPHY

I don’t want to pose and plan every minute of your day for perfect pictures, but rather to walk alongside you and document the beauty and joy of your season and the sweet moments as they unfold.

I believe emotions are worth being captured. Imperfect and unposed moments are beautiful, and that when you look back at your photos, you should be able to step back into that season and feel all the wonderful things all over again- and this is my heart for every single gallery I deliver.
